The girls and I spent a week up north, while hubby stayed home to show the house (groan). We were able to visit my ole' stompin' grounds...City Park...where i use to play, as a kid! Swear to God, some of the play equipment is the same that it was 30 years ago!
We celebrated my...ahem...29th birthday with the folks, the girls, and julie & rich! Layla, who has been stingy with her attention to Uncle Rich, found out he's a pretty cool cat. They finally became besties this trip, much to Rich's likening.
The Aurora Cemetary put on a really nice Memorial Day Service. The girls and i went with Beba. I must say, "Taps", gets me every time!
