Play Date: Havilands

I went to Stacy's and met Jess, Krista, and their kiddos for my first solo outing as a Mommy-of-two. Layla had fun with the kids and it was good to see some of my peeps and breathe outside air!! We didn't make it too long, as Layla was nearly passed out in the swing after an hour.

The Island--not the tropical kind

Our island finally came in, and Grandpa, Daddy, and Layla put it all together! It's made a HUGE difference in our kitchen...we LOVE it!!

Baby Gate Time, Already?

I knew it wouldn't be long, but the second day home from the hospital...really? It just comes down to the fact, that Layla is too smart for her own good AND her parents sanity. Looks like we'll be gating off Marley's room by week's end!

Announcing the long awaited arrival of our little fighter. Marley came out kicking and screaming just like her big sis! Other than just a teeny episode of breathing trouble when she first came out, she was absolutely healthy! I've never felt such relief in all my life...

Outside in March

You've got to love sunny and 60 in mid-March!! Layla thoroughly enjoyed some play time in the snow free yard with Mimi, Nona, and Mommy! Surely, she must have worn herself out with all that running and fresh air...I know I did!

Big Sister

Layla always loves to hug and kiss "the baby". This morning, however, she was even more lovey than usual, so we snapped a few pics. I think she knows something BIG is about to happen....

37 Weeks/Last NST--We made it!!

Last NST and baby officially (finally) passed! She had one actual "reactive" episode...not just "reassuring"...no fudging...REACTIVE! Stoffel (our OB) even made a copy of our test with a smiley face...she told me to put it in our baby book!! :-) Finishing up with a bang...that's our girl!! See you in 3 days, peanut...

Yes, i'm fully aware i've created this little diva. She loves talking to her peeps while kickin' it at Target...just like her Mommy!

"Ni-Ni"

Layla has been loving BabyG2's new room/stuff, even pretending to go "ni-ni" in the bean's crib. Hmmm...i sense some drama coming our way, when she realizes this isn't just another play room...for her.
