Weeks 1 & 2

Errr...should we say NOT remembering week 1 & 2. The first few weeks were a blur of feeding, changing, and crying...that last one was mostly me. :-) We were in the hospital for 4 days (post c-section). The hospital stay was GREAT...i never felt better! Though, once we got home, it was a different story. a huge belly rash, 1 pleural effusion, and about 20 lbs of extra fluid build up later...there i was. pretty miserable...but it was wonderful having her home. shane and i couldn't have done it without my mom's help. she stayed for two weeks...basically taking care of me, while we took care of layla. i cried when she left...shocking, i know.
