Our annual trip to Dickinson County Fair didn't disappoint! Although, note to self, don't go on a Saturday evening. All the riff-raff (aka teenagers) were out in hoards!! Anyway, i digress...Layla got to ride even more "big kid" rides this year, and she couldn't have been happier! Marley LOVED the animal barns, which i knew she would. We had a great time...and from now until next September, the girls will ask every week or so if it's "fair time", yet.

Cousins!!
It's been awhile, but we managed to get all the little cousins together late this summer! The kids had a ball and the "Nona's" had quite the day planned. Of course, picture time had to happen first...always best to get that done in the beginning of the day! Then, it was off to the Farmer's Market! The kids didn't find this too exciting...so back home and into swimsuits they went! Water balloon toss/fight and treasure hunt filled the rest of the afternoon. Our sweet little animal-lover, Marley, didn't stray to far from Kenzie. In fact, there are few pictures of her alone without the pup! Love one of the last pics of all the girls being silly...reminds me of being with Jodie and Elissa at that age!!

Texas in Port Aransas!
The second half of our trip was spent in Port A with Pop and Nana! Our days included playing in the pool and giant slide, going to the beach in Port A, heading out on the boat for our annual trip to St. Joe's, cruising the local surf shops, and yes, more Mexican food! Oh, and naturally what would a vacation be without a TORNADO sighting. Yep, you read that right. South Texans call it a "water spout", but it was a tornado. Trust me.
We had a great time seeing family and can't wait to do it again next year! Well, except for Marley puking her recently eaten mac 'n cheese. on the plane home. while still ascending. No pics of that...i can tell you're all disappointed.
