Flower Attack

Marley's currently obsessed with this flower on her exersaucer. It's as if she's the hunter, and the flower is her prey! She's so proud when she gets it!!

August Randomness

Layla told me to get the camera and take her picture. goof ball.

Marley was helping me make the bed and was laughing herself silly!

Shane and I were getting ready to go to work/class one morning and came into the living room to find Layla had buried Marley with every baby toy we have!

Daddy and L going to the park.

Looks like we have another swing lover. Who doesn't love swinging, though, right?

Dream Park

We made another trip to the Dream Park with some pals from work. Kendall was a big help that day. She was very concerned about Layla and what she was doing....constantly holding her hand and taking her around the park! Thanks, Kendall!!! :-)

The three amigos.

"Dane, i don't think that's such a good idea."

She was being very brave and careful here...it was pretty cute.

"Dude, seriously, what are you doing? I got this."

Layla and Marley both thinking it was pretty funny to be on the swing together!

Layla, on a big girl swing...she was so proud!

WWJD: Part II (aka: Marley's Baptism)

Let me start off by saying...this was a bad picture/camera day. My freshly placed batteries died before the baptism even started. Then, my brother's camera ended up taking pretty grainy pics. Believe it or not...these are the best we've got. Sorry, Marley...it was a beautiful day, though!

WWJD: The After Party

I put in some new batteries and was able to snap a few pics after baptism. We enjoyed a nice lunch and even better weather that day! A big thanks to Marley's godparents, Shelley and Brian Robinson, and Julie and Rich Unger! Of course, after all the festivities, Layla wanted to go to the park....there's just never enough fun, is there??

Green vs. Orange

Green beans and peas were Layla's favorite baby foods, by far....so that's what I started feeding Marley. I tried (unsuccessfully) for a week to get her to eat them. I thought, maybe she just wasn't ready to dive into the world of solid food, quite yet. Well, i decided to change it up and try some sweet potato...she ate it ALL. Along with carrots and squash. Turns out...M is emphatically anti-green veggie...but she loves her some orange ones!!!
