Rub-A-Dub-Dub

What is it with kids in bathtubs? As parents, we all think it's adorable...and appropriate to post their little nakey butts for the world to see. As kids, we all grow up embarrassed by our parents antics. Maybe it's a right of passage....

Anyway...here's our cute little nakey bean in one of her favorite places. She'd have tubey time for hours, if we'd let her. She especially likes having water poured over her head. We know that's weird.

Bye bye, dada...Though Not Necessarily In That Order

Here's a video for the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who don't get to see Layla's accomplishments on a daily basis. She was a busy girl, this day. Saying "da-da", crawling, pulling herself up, and waving "bye-bye". I was exhausted!!

Though the tunes she grooves to aren't quite as cool as her friend, Corbin's....Layla likes to show off her mad skills with her signature bobble head move.

We're So Lucky To Have Her...

We're Noticing A Pattern Here...

Yes...she does this all the time. No....we don't let her stay there. No matter what we do, we cannot keep this crazy child away from the entertainment center. This has become especially difficult, now that she can haul a** across the living room in about 2 seconds. She'd be happy spending her time climbing on it, chewing on the handles, and dancing in front of it (while her face is pressed up against the screen, of course.)

"Good Company"

We took a day trip to Appleton to visit with Nona, Grandpa, GG, Aunt Julie, and Uncle Rich this past Sunday. We had a fun day...great visit...and awesome food at "Good Company"!

"Where's Layla? There She Is!"

As with most kids, this has become a favorite game at our house. In the first pic, she was ducking behind her crib and then popping out. In the second pic, i'm ducking behind her highchair. It never fails to crack her up!!
