We took a day trip to Appleton to visit with Nona, Grandpa, GG, Aunt Julie, and Uncle Rich this past Sunday. We had a fun day...great visit...and awesome food at "Good Company"!

As with most kids, this has become a favorite game at our house. In the first pic, she was ducking behind her crib and then popping out. In the second pic, i'm ducking behind her highchair. It never fails to crack her up!!

Big Girls Use Sippy Cups!

Another day, another milestone...sort of! Layla has mastered the sippy cup! YEA! Don't misunderstand, she'd choose a bottle any day of the week. Desperate times call for desperate measures, though...and if she's thirsty enough, a sippy cup will do!

9 Months Old...and already Hot Stuff!

Layla had her 9 month check and ALL is well! She weighs 18lbs, 110z and is 27 in. long. Seeing as how she had huge growth spurts at her 3mo and 6mo checks, I was shocked that she'd only gained 1lb 11oz this time around. I thought for sure she'd be around 20lbs. I guess our little bean is staying...little, for now!

Here's our little one content in watching the world. Layla and Oscar stayed at the window for several minutes. She was babbling the whole time, he sat there just listening to her. I wonder what their secret conversation was all about?
