Today's Events: Crawling & Dancing

We finally captured Layla crawling on video. She's been doing it for a couple of weeks now. (sorry to all the grandparents for the delay!) Now, the dancing...that's her new thing. She does it everywhere...sitting on the floor, in her high chair, even standing in her crib. It's glaringly obvious, she got her rhythm from her daddy. Everyone knows he's the first one to hit the dance floor. :-)

Start Saving Up, Tooth Fairy

After months of waiting...and...whaling...they've finally arrived. If you look closely, you can see one on the bottom right that's poked through. There's one on the left that's on the verge. We're pretty excited about her most recent "accomplishment". Too bad it was accompanied by a 103.3 temperature last night...poor thing.

"Ba-Ba-Ba"...i.e...You're The Best Mommy Ever.

Here's Layla's new form of communication...Babbling with a "B". We figured Mommy and Daddy have been hounding her so much to say "mama" or "dada"...that she went with the neutral consonant.

One Fish, Two Fish...

Week 2: Layla and Shane honed their skills this week, doing alot of the same tasks. Though, one new lesson involved going under water. In the second picture you are getting a bird's eye view of her right after she came out of the water. She appears to be pretty stunned, but actually took to it very well, and didn't mind doing it a few more times. We're so proud of our little water baby.
