Colorado, Part I: Child's Play

Layla and I made our first trip to Colorado to visit Aunt Elissa, Uncle Wade, and Cousins Jake and Ella. We had a great time and the weather was gorgeous!! Here are a few pics of the cousins getting to know one another!

So, we know she can roll over. She just chooses not to do it. Why? We have no idea...but our attemts at encouraging her go something like this.

Apples, Gourds, and Pumpkins...Oh My!

The Riddle family made their first trip to Eplegaarden's Apple Orchard this weekend! We picked pumpkins, saw tons of apple trees, and went on a hayride around the orchard. Layla even got up close and personal with one of the Clydesdales. She didn't seem impressed, but then again, neither did the horse. We had a great time beginning one of many family traditions!

Sit Up Or Go Home!

Look who's upright! This seems to be her new favorite position...and she can actually stay this way for awhile on her own. She's a spicy stubborn girl and refuses to take on this world lying down anymore. Whew...this one's gonna keep us busy!
