Happy Mother's Day!

As everyone knows, it was a bit chaotic around our house on Mother's Day with our little sickie, Miss M! However, the Hubs and girls managed to make it special, none the less.  Homemade gifts the girls made at school, tulips, cards, and lots of artwork made the day very special!

Happy Easter!

We had a fun-filled day on Easter Sunday this year! First off, the Riddlettes scored some major loot from the big guy...and we're eager to eat some of said loot...at 6:30am. This made for an interesting 2 hour car ride to Appleton! We were able to celebrate with "bacon-on-the-grill" (ham) and lots of good cookin' with all the fam for Easter brunch. We aren't all able to get together that often, so it was nice to see everyone! The girls and their cousins participated in an Easter egg hunt...which added more candy...and more strung out kids for the 2 hour ride home. awesome.

Kid Art

The Riddlettes, being the budding ar-teests that they are, helped out with the home deco project this week! We decided to let them hand-paint a canvas....and for kid art...i think it turned out pretty well!

Marley's 2year Check-Up!

All looks well (and is on track) for our little caboose!

Her stats:
Height: 34in (56%) She grew 5in this year!
Weight: 25.8lbs (39%) She gained 6lbs!
Head: 48cm (65%) Her massive head grew 3cm!

Other than getting her last vaccination (YAY and OUCH) and a pesky diaper rash, that actually turned out to be strep, she had a great visit!

"Workin' at the Car Wash"

Of course we'd be washing the cars...outside...in March. This is Wisconsin, after all!! We've been enjoying this unseasonably warm winter, but the 70-80s in March have been the icing on the cake!! Hoping the nice weather continues right into summer!!

Getting ready to help Daddy wash his truck!

Gettin' her spray on!!

Marley was more interested in sudsing herself up, than the truck!

"Mommy, look how hard my hands worked!"

Looky Loo, M turns TWO!!

Our baby celebrated her birthday a week early, due to me working this weekend! Up until the past week (when she's been obsessed with Tangled), she really liked barnyard animals...so a barnyard animal theme it was! It was even complete with barnyard animal cupcakes made by moi!! Nona, Beba, and Uncle Ross were able to join us for the festivities...and everyone (well, except Layla) had a great time!! Poor Miss L....this was a rough party for her (note the last pic). It's hard growing up and not being the one getting all the attention and presents!! She made it through though. She comforted herself with the fact, that when it was her birthday, "Marley wouldn't get anything". Yea....whatever works, babe.
