Layla looks slightly traumatized here, because Marley was screaming...loudly.

She got a Mrs. Potato Head from my friend Peggy (thanks!), and she insisted on wearing the glasses for over an hour. She was going cross-eyed by the end, and i made her take them off!

Yet, another day of wearing Mommy's shoes.

4 Weeks!

Our little chubber is up to a whopping 6 1/2 lbs!! All looks well...no more weight checks for another month!

Cliff Notes

No time for several posts, so i'm cheating a bit and combining some pics over the last 2 weeks. The girls are doing great. Layla is taking an active part in caring for her little sister! She loves helping hold Marley's bottle and shoving (literally) her pacifier in her mouth, even when she clearly doesn't want it. Marley, for her part is eating and growing just like a little peanut should. We've had a few nights where she's slept 5 hours straight....last night 5 1/2!! Ahhh...can't wait for a whole night's sleep again!!

Easter '10

We had a great Easter this year, just hanging out at home with the fam. Layla loved her basket and finding a few Easter eggs we "hid". When i say "hid", i mean "in plain site". C'mon...she's not even 2, yet! Marley had fun, too...eating and sleeping.

Play Date: Riddle Family of Four

We ventured out to a park near our house...mostly to get our restless little Layla some much needed fun and attention. We got her out of the swing long enough to hit the slide a few times and play with some bubbles, but she mostly wanted to swing! (can't say as i blame her, who wouldn't want to be pushed in a swing all day?!) We had a great time and even made it home before the rain started!
