They came from far and wide!!

We just wanted to thank our family for their love and support through this journey! We'd also like to give an extra thanks to those who were able to make it to Layla's birth...Nona, Grandpa, Uncle Ross, Mimi, and Aunt Shelley!!! It was an amazing day!! Love y'all!

Baby's first day

Our beautiful baby girl, Layla Ann, was born in Madison, WI, on May 15 at 8:34 am. She was 5 lbs 5 oz, 18 and 1/2 inches long. She was a little reluctant to join us in the outside world, but she came out with her "A game." 9 out of 10 on the APGARS test! She wasn't shy about making her voice heard from the time they put her on the weighing table. She had big round eyes, her Daddy's lanky build and full lips, her Mommy's chin and nose. The rest of the day was spent introducing baby Layla to her family who came from far and wide to meet her. Daddy's Mom and Sis came up from South Texas. Mommy's parents and brother came down from Northeast Wisconsin. It was a perfect day for all, the best day ever for Mommy & Daddy.

36 Weeks

Well, this is the final stretch! Next week...we'll be face to face with this sweet girl! We can't wait...especially Mommy. She's ready to have baby on the outside!!

28 Weeks

Another exciting ultrasound pic. It's amazing to see how much she's grown each time. We're over the half way point. Yea!!

24 Weeks

She's getting to look more and more like a newborn every day! We'll be getting ultrasounds every 4 weeks to check her growth...aren't we lucky? :-)

20 Weeks

IT'S A GIRL!! We found out today our little bean is a sweet baby girl. We're half way done at 20 weeks!!
